Awards season’s most ignominious honors, the Razzie Awards, announced their nominations for the year’s worst films. While Disney’s animated sequel Zootopia 2 has been winning over critics in the race to the big Oscars night, the studio’s live-action reimagining of Snow White has dominated this diss list, which also offered more than one ironic honor to Paramount Animation’s Smurfs.
Snow White is nominated for Razzies in the categories of Worst Picture, Worst Remake/Spin Off/Sequel, Worst Supporting Actor (All Seven Artificial Dwarfs), Worst Screen Combo (All Seven Artificial Dwarfs), Worst Director (Marc Webb) and Worst Screenplay (Erin Cressida Wilson et al).
Smurfs received nods for Worst Remake/Spin Off/Sequel and Worst Screen Combo (James Corden & Rihanna).
