New ‘Unicorn Academy & ‘Sparkles Magical Market’ Digital Series Headline Spin Master Expansion

Spin Master Entertainment has announced the premiere of two new original digital-first series — Unicorn Academy Shorts and Sparkles Magical Market — further expanding its content offering for kids. Both launches mark a strategic push into premium YouTube storytelling paired with high-engagement digital game experiences.

Last week, Spin Master launched the Sparkles Magical Market YouTube series (30 x 3′), a 2D animated series based on its popular Roblox game. The shorts bring the characters and whimsical world of Sparkles to life, with the first episode now available and new releases planned through the first half of 2026.

In parallel, Spin Master is evolving the Sparkles Magical Market Roblox game, transitioning from a tycoon-style play to an immersive roleplay experience. The new version allows players to interact with series characters and “work” in locations including Muffi’s Bakery, Cami’s Boutique and Roxi’s Sweet Lab. Players earn charms for completing tasks and can use them to personalize their in-game apartments, fostering creativity and narrative exploration.

Since its original launch in September 2024, the Sparkles Magical Market Roblox experience has achieved over 3.5 million total visits.

To support this transition and amplify reach, Roblox influencer PolarCub has joined the Sparkles team as gaming ambassador. She will create engaging gameplay content and behind-the-scenes videos for the Sparkles YouTube channel throughout the remainder of 2025.

Unicorn Academy [Spin Master Entertainment]

Unicorn Academy Shorts (12 x 5’) premiered earlier this month, with new episodes rolling out every Friday through March 2026. The digital series is an extension of the Unicorn Academy franchise, giving audiences fresh adventures via YouTube between larger content drops. The shorts are organized around three thematic arcs:

  • Friendship (4 episodes)
  • Magic (4 episodes)
  • Unicorns (4 episodes)

The first episode debuted in English and Spanish. Additional language versions include: Brazilian Portuguese, Italian, German and French.
