The Animation Showcase Platform Launches Annecy 2025 Collection

The Animation Showcase, the free-for-industry streaming platform dedicated to international animated shorts and features. has announced its 2025 Annecy Festival Highlights Collection. Shorts screened at the prestigious French animation fest are now accessible for platform users and all members of the animation industry.

The collection includes The Night Boots by Pierre-Luc Granjon, which won both the Cristal and Audience Awards for Best Short Film, and The Girl Who Cried Pearls, the latest work by Oscar-nominated directors Chris Lavis and Maciek Szczerbowski (best known for their acclaimed short Madame Tutli-Putli), among other shorts.

The Animation Showcase Streaming Platform is a film industry-only hub curating animated shorts and feature films from filmmakers around the world and gives the opportunity to the animation and motion pictures community to discover or rewatch feature films for a limited time.

Since its launch, the platform has streamed all the Oscar-nominated and the vast majority of the Oscar shortlisted animated shorts. The platform has also hosted Oscar-nominated animated features, such as Neon’s documentary Flee, A24’s Marcel the Shell with Shoes On and IFC Films’ Memoir of a Snail.

All animation and motion picture industry professionals and students can easily join the platform by following the portal and the three-step instructions below, with valid proof of work:

1. Click on the Animation Magazine Sign Up Portal to request a membership to the streaming platform.
2. Add your email address and proof of work in the animation and/or motion picture industry (IMDb, LinkedIn, Vimeo, etc,)
3. After the information verification, you will receive an email with the instructions to connect to the streaming platform and begin watching.
