Tell You What: Time to Catch That New ‘King of the Hill’ Season 14 Trailer

Hulu is generating more heat for the August 4 revival of King of the Hill by releasing a new trailer and key art for Season 14 of Mike Judge and Greg Daniels’ beloved show. The new season picks several years after we last saw the Hill family – Hank and Peggy Hill are now retired and return to a changed Arlen after years of working in Saudi Arabia; and Bobby is 21 and living his best life while navigating adulthood as a chef in Dallas.

The new season finds Hank and Peggy back from Saudi Arabia to earn their retirement nest egg, They return to Arlen, Texas to reconnect with old friends Dale, Boomhauer and Bill. Meanwhile, Bobby is living his dream as a chef in Dallas and enjoying his 20s with his former classmates Connie, Joseph and Chane. The cast includes Mike Judge, Kathy Najimy, Pamela Adlon, Johnny Hardwick, Stephen Root, Lauren Tom and Toby Huss

The production has also announced that actor Ronny Chieng will join the cast as returning character Kahn Souphanousinephone, Hank’s Laotian neighbor who lives with his wife Minh. He is described as “arrogant and has maintained his superiority complex towards his Arlen neighbors. He is ultra-competitive and often butts heads with Hank as he attempts to ‘win’ at life. He loves his daughter Connie, but tries to control her life and thinks she is too good to associate with Bobby Hill.”

Read our interview with creators Mike Judge and Greg Daniels and showrunner Saladin K. Patterson in the July/August issue of Animation Magazine, which comes out on July 18 and is distributed at Comic-Con in San Diego.
