Following a successful MIPTV market, Taffy Ent. has sold a number of its popular animated series to broadcasters across five continents. The latest raft of deals will introduce new audiences to Cosmic Quantum Ray, Ava Riko Teo (a.k.a. Lamimila), The Fantastic Four, I Got a Rocket!, ToddWorld and other Taffy properties.
The new comedy-action-adventure series Cosmic Quantum Ray (26×22) has been picked up by Disney Channel Latin America and DeAgostini Neo Network in Italy. Growing Up Creepie (52×11) was sold to ATV in Hong Kong, while Cartoon Network Australia and MTV3 in Finland have renewed Code Lyoko (97×26) by acquiring the third and fourth seasons. The Fantastic Four (26×26) is headed to China via ERG Media, The Philippines on ABS-CBN and Indonesia on home video through a deal with PT Unggul Cipta Piranti.
The multi-territory JimJam kids’ television channel has secured the rights to the preschool series ToddWorld (78×11) and the Ava Riko Teo (65 x7). Ava Riko Teo will appear on JimJam in the Middle East, and ToddWorld will be seen in Italy, the Middle East and Central and Eastern Europe.
Taffy also completed package deals with Brightspark in the U.K., for video rights to ToddWorld, SamSam (52×7), Pet Alien (104×11) and Mix Master (39×22), and with Sun TV in India for Code Lyoko, SamSam, Bobby’s World (81×22), Babaloos (130×5′) and Flight Squad (26×26).
