Sandler’s Gay Robot Retooled

Originally ordered by Comedy Central and as a live-action pilot in 2005, the shelved Gay Robot from Adam Sandler’s Happy Madison and Sony Pictures Television is being rethought as an animated series, according to The Hollywood Reporter. In the pilot episode, Gay Robot’s fraternity brothers try to get him a date for the homecoming dance. Sandler and Happy Madison partner Jack Giarraputo co-wrote with script with Swardson and Doug Robinson.
