Nick Toons Up for the Holidays

Nick Toons Up for the Holidays

Nickelodeon brings a feast of Nicktoons to the table this Thanksgiving weekend (Nov. 27-Dec. 1). Highlights will include behind-the-scenes peeks at Nickelodeon’s Animation Studio in Burbank. The cast of All That hosts this "Non-Stop Nicktoons Weekend," chatting with animators and creators who reveal little-known facts about stars like Jimmy Neutron, Timmy Turner (The Fairly OddParents), SpongeBob SquarePants and Rudy Tabootie (ChalkZone).

Viewers can also log on to where they may ask their own questions and get on-air answers from the All That cast. Interstitials with creators such as Butch Hartman (The Fairly OddParents), Larry Huber and Bill Burnett (ChalkZone) will illustrate and provide insight into the making of a Nicktoon.

The festivities continue with the Rugrats favorite The Turkey That Came to Dinner on Friday at noon (ET/PT), and all-new, back-to-back primetime episodes on of Rugrats, Rocket Power, The Fairly OddParents and The Adventures of Jimmy Neutron, Boy Genius on Saturday from 8:00-10:00 p.m. (ET/PT). In addition, Thanksgiving Day will feature holiday-themed episodes of CatDog (11:30 a.m. ET/PT) and Hey, Arnold! (3 p.m. ET/PT).

Chanukah-themed episodes of Rugrats and As Told By Ginger kick off the network’s primetime slate of back-to-back specials in December. The Rugrats episode “Babies in Toyland” will premiere on Monday, Dec. 9 at 8:00 p.m., followed by the debut of a special Dora the Explorer titled “A present for Santa” on Wednesday at 8:30 p.m.

Other highlights of Nickmas will include the premiere of an animated, musical re-telling of Charles Dickens’ A Christmas Carol on Sunday, Dec. 8 at 12:30 p.m., and holiday episodes of Nick favorites including SpongeBob SquarePants, Hey, Arnold!, The Fairly OddPrents, The Wild Thornberrys, CatDog and more.
