Corus Entertainment and MTV Networks International are set to launch a 24-hour Nickelodeon channel in Canada on Nov. 2.
The channel will be dedicated exclusively to Canadian children and will feature a lineup of Nick’s best live action and animated properties. The channel will feature the Canadian premieres of the animated series Fanboy and Chum Chum, as well as such favorite as SpongeBob SquarePants, Dora the Explorer and The Backyardigans!
The channel also will feature original Canadian programming, such as the series Grossology, Max & Ruby, Storm Hawks and My Friend Rabbit.

Corus Entertainment Inc. and MTVNI’s multi-platform agreement includes exclusive television rights in Canada to all current Nick animated programming as well as live action series and all digital rights for Nickelodeon and related brands.
