Channel 5’s Milkshake in the U.K. has commissioned U.K./U.S. family entertainment production company Komixx Media Group for a second season of Toby’s Travelling Circus, following the successful first season run on the popular preschool block. The order is for a package of 52 10-minute episodes of the stop-motion series.
Season two will continue to follow charismatic Toby, the 7-year-old Ringmaster of a traveling circus and fairground. With his mischievous toy monkey Momo by his side, Toby has to make sure he and his friends put on a spectacular show everywhere they go. In the new adventures, Toby will be joined by his American cousin, Dani.
Toby’s Traveling Circus season two will premiere on Milkshake in the fall of 2017.
The second season of Toby is Channel 5’s most recent commission for Milkshake, following new series Winnie and Wilbur from Winduna Enterprises, starring Katy Brand and Bill Bailey; and the third season of Milkshake Monkey from Match Cut Ltd., premiering this September.
