The two-night 2018 Creative Arts Emmy Award ceremonies were held this weekend, with Saturday proving a big night for live-action favorites GLOW, Game of Thrones (seven wins out of 22 nominations), Black Mirror, and for Adult Swim, which scored a double win for Outstanding Animated Program for Rick and Morty “Pickle Rick” and Outstanding Short Form Animated Program for the Robot Chicken “Freshly Baked” special.
The big finale of the 70th Emmy Awards will be broadcast live on September 17.
