Original animated miniseries Lili & Lola will make its debut on multilingual streaming channel Oznoz this Wednesday, July 8. The show will be released in Persian (Farsi), with new episodes debuting every Wednesday. English, French and other language versions are in the works for the the 5 x 7-minute miniseries. The show will also air in Canada on ICI Television Montreal, Shaw Multicultural Channel and TenTV Toronto.
Lili & Lola follows the adventures of two sisters who live in a small apartment in a big city. Their everyday adventures in the park, around the neighborhood and with their friends showcase a diverse world, while allowing for cultural celebrations like Norooz (Iranian New Year). The show is produced by Shabnam Rezaei and Aly Jetha of Big Bad Boo Studios, created in collaboration with the Canadian Media Fund.
In addition to the animated episodes, a series of iOS apps and games will support the preschool friendly, literacy-focused curriculum.
