Alpha Animation Group welcomes Julie Ball to the team as a marketing consultant at a time of growth for the global animation and entertainment group. Ball is Director of Ignite Consulting.
Having spent 20 years’ in the toy industry, Ball brings a wealth of experience gained at some of the major players — including a 15-year tenure at Mattel, where she held a variety of senior positions across marketing and consumer products. She has also conducted consultant roles at Hasbro and Spinmaster and more recently held the position of Head of Marketing for IMC Toys.
Ball joins Alpha Group’s U.K. head office as the team readies for the important Q1 trade shows and their major new master toy launches in 2020.

The group has a broad portfolio lined up for 2020, including Alpha’s own preschool hit property Super Wings, which airs on Cartoonito and Tiny Pop in the U.K. The iconic SpongeBob SquarePants range expands in readiness for the movie launch in May. Alpha also have new master toy properties launching 2020/21, including global gaming sensation Subway Surfers and kids’ favorite preschool animation brand Chuggington. There is also further content based brands in development by Alpha.
