Evolution USA has been tapped to handle licensing, merchandising and promotions for the CGI TV series Super 4 and for the iconic Playmobil toy brand in the United States. The company will premiere both brands to potential licensees, promotional partners and retailers at this month’s Licensing Expo in Las Vegas (June 9-11) at booth F155.
Super 4 (52 x 11) is an action-adventure series inspired by Playmobil and produced by Morgen Studios and Method Animation for kids 5-11, and is available in the U.S. through Netflix. Playmobil is the worldwide master toy licensee, and this fall will launch a line of hero figures and play sets across all retail channels. Evolution will then expand the brand into publishing, videogames, novelty toys and games, apparel and accessories, gifts, stationery and out-of-home entertainment.
Evolution also plans to launch a retro-style Playmobil line of apparel, accessories, novelties, gift and paper goods targeted at young adults and juniors in the specialty and mid-tier retail channels for Spring 2016, expanding into more categories and channels beginning Fall 2016, along with a full-scale children’s licensing program for the toy brand.
