Sony Pictures Home Entertainment and Genius Brands International have expanded last year’s North American home entertainment distribution agreement to include worldwide marketing and distribution of Genius Brands’ Kid Genius and Baby Genius labels and properties. On top of the broader agreement, SPHE has taken an equity stake in Genius Brands.

Among the Genius Brands properties encompassed by the global deal are music- and fashion-driven tween girls’ brand SpacePOP, which debuted at retail in Q4 2016 following a successful digital animated content launch; the relaunch of the Baby Genius series; Warren Buffett’s Secret Millionaire’s Club and Stan Lee’s Cosmic Crusaders.
