HIT Ent.’s popular preschool series Thomas & Friends will pull into movie theaters nationwide next month for a special screening event that will feature five never-before-seen episodes. Presented by HIT and NCM Fathom, the entertainment division of National CineMedia, Thomas & Friends on the Big Screen can be caught on Saturday, Sept. 8th at 10 a.m. local time.
The 60-minute screening will introduce three new characters and feature sing-a-longs, trivia and more. As a special bonus, all ticket holders will receive a complimentary Thomas & Friends activity book and a Wal-Mart gift card valued at $5.00.
Thomas the Tank Engine was originally created by the Rev. W. V. Awdry for his son. Today, the series is enjoyed by families in more than 140 countries and is translated into 25 languages. The show is shot at Shepperton Studios in the U.K. and can be seen on Nick Jr. and FIVE in the U.K., and on PBS and PBS KIDS Sprout in the U.S.
