Dubbed HBO Max, the SVOD will launch end of 2019 and ramp up to a full version in spring 2020. Program highlights will include full-season libraries of Friends, The Fresh Prince of Bel Air and Pretty Little Liars. Previously announced original series include Dune: The Sisterhood, Station Eleven, Lovecraft Country and Gremlins: Secrets of the Mogwai. The service has also scored a four-picture deal with Greg Berlanti and a two-movie pact with Reese Witherspoon’s Hello Sunshine production banner.

Set thousands of years before the events of the first show during the Age of Heroes, viewers will be transported to a Westeros split into a hundred feuding kingdoms, where direwolves roam and White Walkers are chillin’. We’ll also get to see some OG Starks — and meet the Casterlys of Casterly Rock, pre-Lannister trickery.
’Sandman’ TV Series Coming to Netflix
Neil Gaiman’s mythic fantasy comics will be adapted into a live-action show by exe producers Gaiman, Allan Heinberg (The Catch, Scandal) and David S. Goyer (Krypton, Constantine franchise). In print since 1988, The Sandman (Vertigo) centers Dream (a.k.a. Morpheus), who has existed throughout much of creation and seen much and more unfold in both waking life and the dream worlds. The comics also relayed stories of his six siblings: Death, Desire, Despair, Destruction, Destiny and Delight/Delirium .
