World Animation Celebration ’17 Calls for Entries

Submissions for The World Animation Celebration 2017 are now open! Presented by Animation Libation Studios and Animation Magazine and hosted by Sony Pictures Animation, WAC is an international short film animation festival open to professionals and students. This year’s event will run for two days on September 30 and October 1 at the SPA lot in Culver City, California.

WAC is now calling for entries in all categories:

Professional – CG, 2D Traditional, Stop-Motion, 2D Digital, Experimental
Student – CG, 2D Traditional, Stop-Motion, 2D Digital, Experimental

In addition to the film competitions, WAC will offer two days of curated screenings, industry panels, guest speakers and artist demonstrations. Aspiring animation filmmakers will also be able to meet with representatives from schools and studio recruiters, and participate in portfolio reviews. Details will be revealed in the coming months, so stay tuned!
