Ottawa Features Competition Gets Double Dose of Yuasa

The feature films in official competition in the 2017 Ottawa International Animation Festival (well, four out of five of them anyway) have been revealed. The lineup includes three Asian titles — including two films from Japanese auteur Masaaki Yuasa. OIAF organizers have also revealed the Young Audiences short film competition, which is split into Preschool and Ages 6-12 categories.

OIAF is set for September 20-24 in Ottawa, ON, with the Oscar-qualifying Independent Short competition contenders yet to be announced. More info at www.animationfestival.ca.
