Nancy Cartwright Graces NY Fest

Animatus Studio and the High Falls Film Festival in Rochester, N.Y. will host "An Afternoon with Nancy Cartwright: My Life as a 10-Year-Old Boy" on Saturday, Nov. 2 at 1:00 p.m.

Cartwright, the Emmy-winning actor and author best known as the voice of Bart Simpson, will share behind-the-scenes stories about her career and show clips representing her work on some of the popular TV shows.

In addition to voicing Bart, Ralph Wiggum, Nelson Muntz and Todd Flanders on The Simpsons, Cartwright has recently taken over the roll of Chuckie on Nickelodeon’s Rugrats and turns in comic performances as Rufus the Naked Mole Rat on Disney’s Kim Possible. Her website,, recently went back online after some revamping.

Tickets for the event are on sale now through Ticket Express, at the box office at 100 East Avenue or by fax: (585) 232-5353. Admission is $7.50 for adults, $5.00 for children 12 and under.

Cartwright will also be signing her book, My Life as a 10-Year-Old Boy, on Sunday, Nov. 3 at Barnes and Noble Booksellers, 3349 Monroe Ave. Pittsford.

The High Falls Film Festival runs Oct. 3 through Nov. 3, 2002.
