The celebration of 3D creativity known as Imagina.03 will take place Feb. 3-6 at the Grimaldi Forum in Monaco. This year, organizers are reasserting the event’s essential role as a venue for meetings and exchanges between digital image professionals in Europe.
NVIDIA, Discreet-software, Alias Wavefront, Criterion Software and Virtools will be among the leading visual technology publishers and designers present and participating at this year’s event. The diversified program will cover a wide range of fields, including 3D animation, special effects, advertising, video clips, video games, interactive television, broadband Web, mobile objects and digital cinema. The 28 Imagina conferences will provide a worldwide panorama of technological advances and their most innovative industrial and artistic applications.
The European Commission’s research and innovation network IST (Information Society Technologies) and RIAM (Audiovisual and Multimedia Research and Innovation Network) will present the latest technological innovations of some twenty industrial concerns.
Côte dAzur Développement (CAD) and Chambre de Développement Economique de Monaco (CDE) are bringing together the expertise of nine companies in a single space and Euroméditerranée and Provence Promotion will preview the “Dirigeable” multimedia project by the Friche Belle de Mai arts center.
The Special Video Games session will by supported by SELL (Federation of Leisure Software Publishers), DESS (Jeux Vidéo & Média Interactif), ISFE (Interactive Software Federation of Europe) and APOM (Association of Multimedia Producers).
Finally, thanks to the initiative and sponsorship of SACD (Society of Dramatic Authors and Composers) and AFDESI (French Association of Interactive Service Publishers), participants will be treated to a slate of Special Interactive Television conferences.
