The nominees for the gamescom award 2019 have been selected, narrowed down from more than 160 submissions by a jury panel of international game journalists, YouTubers and others. The winners of 28 categories will be revealed during the gamescom: Opening Night Live ceremony. The conference and expo takes place in Cologne, Germany from August 20-24.
From the start of the show until Friday, August 23 at 2 p.m., visitors can vote for their favorites in the categories of Best Booth, Best eSports Experience and Best Streamer/Let’s Player via a chat with “gamesbot” in WhatsApp. Fans will also determine the gamescom “Most Wanted” consumer award, selected from all nominated games. These and other winning titles in the jury categories of Best Games Company, Best of CAMPUS and the gamescom Indie Award, as well as the newly created Heart of Gaming Award will be announced in the IGN@gamescom now studio on Saturday at 3:30 p.m. in the livestream.
