Animation Block Party Starts Early with Alumni Showcase

Brooklyn’s Animation Block Party is getting a jump on the 2019 edition with a special First Day of Summer Alumni event with Rooftop Films, set for June 21.
The outdoor screening will bring back broadcast creators, commercial producers, music video makers and filmmakers from some of the world’s top animation studios who have been a part of the popular ABP festival over the years. The aim of the showcase is to give ABP fasn a fresh taste of new works from these talented creators.

Rooftop Films is a nonprofit organization whose mission is to inspire diverse communities by showcasing the work of emerging filmmakers in outdoor locations and has worked with ABP since 2006.
