The second Digital Lab Africa pitch competition has wrapped up, with the selections committee members revealing their 10 favorite projects from the 2018 editions. Thirty finalists were under consideration via “video pitch” (still available to watch at vote.digilabafrica.com) and through interviews.
This year’s DLA pitch attracted more than 730 applications. The 10 winners will get a 3,000 euro cash prize and participate in a tailored incubation program to accelerate their project development with two mentors from French & Sub-Saharan creative industries (producers, distributors, broadcasters, artists, etc.), a residence period in France within a digital cluster/hub, and participation in industry events in France and/or in Sub-Saharan African.
