We’re ready! We’re ready! Everyone’s ready for the special SpongeBob SquarePants stamps this summer. United States Postal Service is launching a set of four limited-edition featuring Stephen Hillenburg’s bright, optimistic and super absorbent character. Available August 1, the SpongeBob stamps are part of the USPS’ specialty summer offerings.
The colorful Forever stamps — they can be used forever, or until the USPS goes out of business, whichever happens first! — feature SpongeBob, Patrick Star, Squidward, Mr. Krabs, Sandy Cheeks, Plankton, and yes, Gary the Snail too! A sheet of 16 SpongeBob SquarePants stamps will cost $12.48,
SpongeBob first premiered on Nickelodeon in 1999, and the 16th season of the series aired in June. The show, and its spinoffs Kamp Koral and The Patrick Star Show, air on Nickelodeon and stream on Paramount+.
The dynamic yellow star will also star in a spectacular new mixed-media feature this year. Paramount’s The SpongeBob Movie: Search for SquarePants premieres on Dec. 19. Directed by longtime show veteran Derek Dryman, the movie is penned by Pam Brady and Matt Lieberman and features the talents of Tom Kenny, Clancy Brown, Rodger Bumpass, Bill Fagerbakke, Carolyn Lawrence, Mr. Lawrence, Mark Hamill, Regina Hall, Sherry Cola, Arturo Castro, George Lopez and Ice Spice. The film is produced by Pam Brady, Lisa Stewart and Aaron Dem.
