Following a sneak peek as part of the Next on Netflix presentation at the Annecy Festival, Netflix has debuted the teaser trailer, poster and new stills for the upcoming animated family adventure In Your Dreams! The original CG-animated tale will premiere on Netflix on November 14.

The new spot offers a whirlwind-tour through a colorful dreamworld, sprung from the subconsciouses the film’s young sibling heroes as they search for the legendary Sandman, who has the power to make any dream come true. A kingdom of sweet breakfast treats (some sentient), the return of a lost toy and an attack by a kaiju hot dog all unfold in vibrant vignettes — including a 2D snippet — set to the Eurhythmics’ classic track, “Sweet Dreams (Are Made of This).”

Synopsis: In Your Dreams is a comedy adventure that follows Stevie and her brother Elliot as they journey into the absurd landscape of their own dreams. If the siblings can withstand a snarky stuffed giraffe, zombie breakfast foods, and the queen of nightmares, the Sandman will grant them their ultimate dream come true … the perfect family.

In Your Dreams is directed by Alex Woo (one of Animation Magazine‘s 2025 Rising Stars of Animation) and co-directed by Erik Benson; the duo also penned the screenplay based on an original story by Woo and Stanley Moore. The film is produced by Netflix Animation and Woo’s  Kuku Studios, with Timothy Hahn, p.g.a. and Gregg Taylor, p.g.a. as producers. The score is composed by Oscar-nominated John Debney, whose animation credits include The  Garfield Movie, Luck, The Ant Bully and The Emperor’s New Groove.

“In Your Dreams began 10 years ago, when I left Pixar to start Kuku Studios. At the time, we were a tiny team of three, imagining the kinds of stories we wished to see in the world. One of our first ideas was a film about dreams,” says Woo. “Dreams have always fascinated me. Why do we have them? Where do they come from? What do they tell us about ourselves? Making this movie gave me the chance to explore those questions in the most fun and fantastical ways I could imagine.”

Woo presented footage from his movie at Netflix’s presentation of new content at Annecy yesterday. Check the trailer below:
