The Animation Showcase, the free streaming platform for animation and motion picture industry members, has launched a new limited-time collection of animated shorts celebrating queer stories for Pride Month.
“Animation has always been a medium that allows endless creativity, freedom and individual expression. Naturally, it has been used to as a vector to celebrate Queerness in all its form, art, stories and the many voices that shape these communities,” said Benoit Berthe Siward, Curator & Founder of The Animation Showcase. “After Annecy Festival’s Pride & Diversity celebration in its 2023 edition, I am extremely proud to share this year a new collection of queer animated films, a testament to the power of visibility and the beauty of shared experiences.”
