Red Animation Studio’s recent projects include the Rovio Entertainment series Angry Birds: Maker Space (Season 2 & 3) and Angry Birds: Bubble Trouble (Seasons 1 & 2) and Moonbug Entertainment’s Crayola Crew. The studio is currently developing an original feature film, Kai, and original series Spark of the Mechas.
Red Canarias is expected to crated 40 high-skill jobs in its first year and intends to develop training programs with local universities, further boosting the Canary Islands’ animation and VFX talent pool. The new outpost will be led by Producer & Studio Manager Guillermo Peraza, CEO & Creative Director Milton Guerrero and Head of Production Marie Castañeda.
Expanding its footprint to Tenerife also serves to solidify Red Animation Studio’s collaborative relationship with Germany’s Seru Animation (The Elfkins, Rabbit Academy).
