‘Lulu Is a Rhinoceros’ Clip Reminisces on Regina the Rhino (Exclusive)

In a new, exclusive clip from Apple TV+’s upcoming musical special Lulu Is a Rhinoceros, viewers are introduced to an iconic ungulate from this charming world of animated animals. Based on the children’s book by father-daughter duo Jason and Allison Flom, the 2D special will premiere globally this Friday, May 30.

The clip features Auliʻi Cravalho (Moana) as Lulu,  Emmy Award nominee Dulé Hill (Psych) as Flom Flom and Utkarsh Ambudkar (Ghosts) as Hip-Hop. In it, Flom Flom tells Lulu that she reminds him of his old friend, the kind and charismatic Regina the Rhinoceros.

Synopsis: Lulu is a rhinoceros — that’s who she sees when she looks in the mirror. On a quest to spread kindness, fun-loving Lulu embarks on the adventure of a lifetime, powered by new friends, courage and catchy songs!

Produced by Propagate Content and animation studio Bento Box Entertainment, the special also features the voices of Tony winner Alex Newell (Glee) and Paul Rust, with original music by Golden Globe nominee Leland. Angela Stempel (Urges, Heart Chakra) directs and Allison Flom serves as head writer.
