‘KPop: Demon Hunters’ Unleashes Monster-Busting Girl Power in Official Trailer

KPop: Demon Hunters [cNetflix 2025]

Today, Netflix revealed the official trailer for its upcoming animated movie KPop: Demon Hunters, arriving on screens on June 20. Produced by Sony Pictures Animation, the 3D CG feature is an original story crafted by Maggie Kang (head of story, The LEGO Ninjago Movie), who directs with Chris Appelhans (Wish Dragon).

Synopsis: When they aren’t selling out stadiums, Kpop superstars Rumi, Mira and Zoey use their secret identities as badass demon hunters to protect their fans from an ever-present supernatural threat. Together, they must face their biggest enemy yet — an irresistible rival boy band of demons in disguise.

The voice cast is led by Arden Cho (Rumi), May Hong (Mira) and Ji-young Yoo (Zoey), and Ahn Hyo-seop as Jinu, the leader of the demonic boy band. The film also features the voices of Yunjin Kim, Joel Kim Booster, Liza Koshy, with Daniel Dae Kim, Ken Jeong and Byung Hun Lee.

KPop: Demon Hunters is produced by Michelle L.M. Wong, co-produced by Scott Berri and Jacky Priddle, with Ian Eisendrath as executive music producer. The score is by Marcelo Zarvos, and the pic boasts original songs written by Danny Chung, IDO, Vince, KUSH, EJAE, Jenna Andrews, Stephen Kirk, Lindgren, Mark Sonnenblick and Daniel Rojas; produced by Teddy Park, 24, IDO, DOMINSUK, Jenna Andrews, Stephen Kirk, Lindgren and Ian Eisendrath; and performed by EJAE, Audrey Nuna, REI AMI, Andrew Choi, Danny Chung, Kevin Woo, samUIL Lee, Neckwav, Lea Salonga; plus an original feature song performed by Jeongyeon, Jihyo and Chaeyoung of TWICE.
