Earth’s wildest honeymooners are coming back to Hulu Animayhem next month, when Season 5 of Solar Opposites arrives on the streamer on August 12. From San Diego Comic-Con today, Hulu debuted the official trailer for the next chapter, along with some exciting announcements for their extra extraterrestrial toon clan.
During the Solar Opposites panel at SDCC, voice star Dan Stevens shared the news in a pre-recorded video that the show has been renewed for a sixth season. The cast and producers on stage also announced Season 5 will include a special Halloween episode, premiering later this year.
Solar Opposites centers around a team of four aliens who are evenly split on whether Earth is awful or awesome. Korvo (Dan Stevens) and Yumyulack (Sean Giambrone) only see the pollution, crass consumerism, and human frailty while Terry (Thomas Middleditch) and Jesse (Mary Mack) love TV, junk food and fun stuff.
In Season 5, now that alien mission partners Terry and Korvo are married, the whole Solar Opposites team are focused on family values!
