Hulu has delivered a heart-shaped box of pain and hilarity to adult animation fans, unleashing the trailer for the new Solar Opposites Valentine’s Day special, premiering Monday, February 5.
Titled An Earth Shatteringly Romantic Solar Valentine’s Day Opposites Special, the holiday fling sees Korvo (Dan Stevens), Yumyulack (Sean Giambrone), Terry (Thomas Middleditch) and Jesse (Mary Mack) get “romantic AF” — so much so that they become determined to royally f*** the Earth and everyone on it.
The Solar Opposites series centers on a team of four alien scouts who are evenly split on whether Earth is awful (see human frailty, crass consumerism, pollution etc.) or awesome (with its junk food, television and other brain-rotting, body-endangering fun). Produced by 20th Television Animation and executive produced by Mike McMahan and Josh Bycel, the show is currently in its fourth season on Hulu.
