Acclaimed filmmakers Limbert Fabian (MLK: Now Is The Time) and Brandon Oldenburg (Lost Ollie) have signed with Anonymous Content for representation. The directors and frequent collaborators have also formed a new directorial partnership, InBetween.
Following success within their respective careers and joint projects, Fabian and Oldenburg are now officially coming together as a directorial duo to create content under their shared creative expertise. The pair have been longtime collaborators, having met on the campus of Ringling College of Art and Design and working together numerous times over the last 28 years on a variety of projects including feature, episodic, commercial, and interactive entertainment.
“It’s a thrilling time for us as a directing duo,” said Fabian. “We share a common vision for filmmaking, and feel it’s time to tell stories as independent creators. We look forward to working with Anonymous Content as we step into this new era of collaboration.”
“We’re passionate about telling stories that are both visually stunning, emotionally resonant and push the bar for the medium of animation.” added Oldenburg. “We’re looking forward to collaborating with other studios and artists and the support of the Anonymous Content team as we work to bring our visions to life.”
Over the years, their joint work has been showcased in festivals around the world, winning numerous awards including several Emmys (Dolby’s Silent, Radio Flyer’s Taking Flight) and the Cannes Lions Grand Prix (Chipotle’s Scarecrow). Independently, Fabian also recently garnered an Emmy nomination for his drama feature MLK: Now is the Time and Oldenburg, having won the Oscar for directing the best animated short, The Fantastic Flying Books of Mr. Morris Lessmore. Oldenburg recently executive produced the limited hybrid Netflix series Lost Ollie that premiered in 2022 on Netflix, produced by 21 Laps.
Since 1995, the two have served as founding members of Reel FX, Moonbot Studios, Flight School Studio and most recently, an immersive theatrical experience, The Department of Wonder.
