BAFTA Awards: Del Toro’s ‘Pinocchio,’ Apple’s ‘The Boy, The Mole’ Short & ‘Avatar 2’ Win Animation, VFX Honors

The winners of the 2023 EE BAFTA Film Awards were announced Sunday night in a ceremony hosted by Richard E. Grant and Alison Hammond at The Royal Festival Hall, broadcasted on BBC One and iPlayer. While an impressive seven award streak bodes well for All Quiet on the Western Front this awards season, some animated favorites added to their trophy totals as well.
