The Television Academy held a trio of ceremonies to present the 2021 Creative Arts Emmy Awards this weekend, honoring an array of television production crafts — including animation, visual effects and motion design. Adding to the individual achievement honors already bestowed by the jury, this year’s main animated program prizewinners are Adult Swim’s Primal and Netflix’s Love, Death + Robots.
From animation icon Genndy Taratakovsky, Primal took home its first honor for Outstanding Animated Program and brought its total of individual achievement honorees on its team to four.
