Trailer: ‘The Loud House Movie’ Unravels an Heir-Raising Adventure Aug. 20

Nickelodeon’s beloved family of 13 gets lucky on summer vacation in The Loud House Movie, premiering on Netflix on August 20. The newly released trailer gives us a look at what the ignoble nobility gets up to when they discover that Lincoln is the heir to the Scottish dukedom of “Loch Loud.” Of course, it would be silly to have a castle adventure without throwing in a vengeful witch, a cuddly dragon and a proper haunting of auld lang syne.

In Nickelodeon’s The Loud House Movie, the biggest family on television goes on the biggest Loud family vacation ever! The adventure follows the Loud family to Scotland where they discover that they are descendants of Scottish royalty. The family quickly indulges in the most wish-fulfilling high-life ever when they discover their ancestral home is a castle.

The movie is directed by Dave Needham (head of story, Smallfoot; storyboard, The Boss Baby) from a script by Kevin Sullivan (Sanjay and Craig, Bravest Warriors) and Loud House series writer Chris Viscardi (The Fairly Oddparents; co-creator, Danny Phantom), produced by Nickelodeon Animation.

David Tennant and Michelle Gomez (Morag) lend extra Scottish flair to the voice cast, which features Asher Bishop (Lincoln), Grey Griffin (Lola/Lana/Lily), Jill Talley (Mom), Brian Stepanek (Dad), Jessica DiCicco (Lynn/Lucy), Liliana Mumy (Leni), Cristina Pucelli (Luan), Nika Futterman (Luna), Lara Jill Miller (Lisa), Andre Robinson (Clyde McBride), Cat Taber (Lori), Katy Townsend (Lucille), Carlos PenaVega (Bobby Santiago) and Izabella Alvarez (Ronnie Anne Santiago).
