Fans of Minnie Mouse will go absolutely dottie for her new CG-animated Disney Junior shorts series, Minnie’s Bow-Toons: Party Palace Pals! Premiering Saturday, April 3 on YouTube, the new show picks up where the original Emmy Award-winning short-form series left off as Minnie and her best friend Daisy Duck take on their newest venture: running a party planning business called the Polka Dot Party Palace.
Season one will include a musical chapter “Happy Birthday, Minnie Mouse – The Musical,” a tap-dancing episode and a birthday celebration for Mickey, plus guest stars including Emmy winner Leslie Uggams (Roots), Amaric McCoy (T.O.T.S.) and Jecobi Swain (Troop Zero). New episodes will begin rolling out on Disney Channel on Monday, April 5. Robert Ramirez is executive producer/writer, Cassandra Brower is co-exec producer/writer.
To get the party started, here’s the premiere short “Moving Day,” Minnie, Daisy and Cuckoo Loca must find a clever way to get their favorite sofa up to their fifth floor apartment.
