Trailer: ‘SuperMansion: World War Tree’ Powers Up Earth Day

Sony Crackle has released the trailer for its upcoming original stop-motion special SuperMansion: World War Tree, premiering Thursday, April 18 on the free streaming network in celebration of Earth Day.

In SuperMansion: World War Tree, The League is faced with saving the world from Nature itself when tree-hugging scientists inadvertently unleash sentient killer redwood trees. While Titanium Rex (Bryan Cranston) and Lex (Jillian Bell) go inter-dimensional to speak with Mother Earth (Lauren Weedman) to prevent mass destruction from the trees, Cooch (Heidi Gardner) is on the run with the fugitive redwoods and Black Saturn (Tucker Gilmore) and American Ranger (Keegan-Michael Key) team up to deliver mankind’s last chance against annihilation.

Also returning to voice star in the special are Chris Pine and co-creator/writer Zeb Wells. Joining Arrested Development’s Weedman as guest stars are multiple-time WWE World Champion Randy Orton as Steelbark, Gary Anthony Williams (Boston Legal, Malcolm in the Middle) as Liplor and Ryan Gaul (The Last O.G.) as Blades.

SuperMansion is created by Zeb Wells and Matthew Senreich (Robot Chicken), who also act as executive producers under their production company Stoopid Buddy Stoodios alongside Seth Green, John Harvatine IV, Eric Towner and Tom Root. Bryan Cranston and James Degus also serve as executive producers under their production banner Moonshot Entertainment. The series is distributed by Sony Pictures Television Inc.
