The nominations for the International Emmy Kids Awards were revealed in Cannes on Monday, with the International Academy of Television Arts & Sciences announcing a total of 28 nominees in seven categories, which span 16 countries of origin — three continents are represented in the animation category alone!
“The Academy is proud to be the preeminent platform for showcasing and recognizing the remarkable wealth and geographic spread of quality kids programming produced around the world,” said Bruce L. Paisner, President & CEO of the TV Academy. “We congratulate the nominees for their outstanding talent and for setting the high standard we all expect for children’s content.”
The award winners will be announced at a ceremony during MIPTV in Cannes, on Tuesday, April 10, 2018. The awards are presented in partnership with Ernst & Young, MIPTV, Shaw Rocket Fund, TV Kids and WDR.
