DreamWorks Animation’s How to Train Your Dragon 2 won the Golden Globe Award for Best Animated Feature.
Written and directed by Dean DeBlois, the sequel beat out for the honor Disney’s Big Hero 6, Reel FX’s Book of Life, LAIKA’s The Boxtrolls and Warner Bros.’ The LEGO Movie for the honor.
In accepting the award, DeBlois and producer Bonnie Arnold thanked the crew of the film as well as DreamWorks Animation chief Jeffrey Katzenberg and Bill Damaschke.
The 72nd Golden Globe Awards, presented by the Hollywood Foreign Press Association, were presented at the Beverly Hills Hilton in a gala ceremony hosted by comic actors Tina Fey and Amy Poehler.
