France’s Folimage as revealed the domestic release date for its upcoming anthology film Bon voyage, Dimitri!, comprised of four kid-friendly animated tales from different directors in varied styles. The film will arrive in French theaters November 19 of this year.
The for shorts, ranging from just under six minutes to 26 minutes, are charming, child-targeted stories themed around Africa, most starring plucky animal characters. The projects are: Le vélo de l’éléphant (The Elephant’s Bicycle) by Olesya Schukina (9 min.), Flocon de Neige (Snowflake) by Natalia Chernysheva (5′ 46″), Tulku by Mohamed Fadera & Sami Guellai (11 min.) and Dimitri Ubuyu by Agnes Lecreux & Fabien Drouet (26 min.)
