The PBS series Peg+Cat won three awards at the Daytime Emmy Creative Arts Awards, including the award for Outstanding Preschool Animated Series.
Meanwhile, DreamWorks/Nickelodeon’s Kung Fu Panda: Legends of Awesomeness won two awards including Outstanding Children’s Animated Series; as did Cartoon Network’s Star Wars: The Clone Wars, which was named Outstanding Special Class Animated Series.
PBS was the network with the most wins, with 12. It was followed by Nickelodeon with 10; CBS with eight; Hub Network with six; TOLN.com with five; ABC and Cooking Channel with three each; Cartoon Network and MeTV with two each; and Disney Channel, HGTV, MTV, mipromise.com and OWN with one each.
Top animated show winners were Peg+Cat and Peter Rabbit with three each; and with two each Bubble Guppies, Kung Fu Panda: Legends of Awesomeness, The Scarecrow, Star Wars: The Clone Wars and Transformers: Prime Beast Hunters.
