Toronto-based 9 Story Entertainment has inked a raft of new sales for its educational preschool cartoon Peg + Cat, which follows an inquisitive girl and her pet sidekick on imaginative adventures wherein they learn to solve problems using mathematical concepts.
New broadcasting partners onboard for Peg + Cat include Treehouse (Canada), SVT (Sweden), YLE (Finland), TVNZ (New Zealand), TG4 (Ireland) and Canal+ Family (France and French-speaking territories).
The series originally debuted on PBS in the U.S. last fall, and prior to this announcement had been licensed to Super RTL (Germany and German-speaking Europe), ABC TV (Australia), HOP (Israel), MiniMini+ (Poland), e-Junior (United Arab Emirates), Zee Learn (India) and Disney (Korea).
