Melissa McCarthy is joining the voice cast of DreamWorks Animation’s B.O.O.: Bureau of Otherworldly Operations.
Deadline.com reports that the star of Bridesmaids, Identity Thief, TV’s Mike & Molly and the upcoming feature The Heat will play the character of Watts, a ghost in a secret agency that protects humans from evil hauntings. Her partner, Jackson Moss, is voiced by Seth Rogen, who previously had a voice role in DreamWorks’ Monsters vs. Aliens.
B.O.O. is due out June 5, 2014, with Anthony Leondis directing from a screenplay by Tom Wheeler, who also wrote Puss in Boots for the studio.
