Leading 3D modeling, painting, animation and rendering solutions developer MAXON has launched Cinema 4D Release 20 (R20). The next gen professional application offers high-end tools and features for VFX and motion graphics artists, including a major expansion of the MoGraph toolset, new volume-based modeling tools, simplified CAD files import and node-based material system.

MAXON will debut Cinema 4D R20 in Europe at IBC 2018 (Sept. 14-18, RAI Convention Center, Amsterdam) at Hall 7, Booth A59. At the MAXON exhibitor booth, internationally renowned 3D artists Nick Lyon from Territory Studio, Matthias Winckelmann from foam Studio, Matthias Zabiegly from Aixsponza, motion design all-star Robert Hranitzky and other guest artist presenters from studios around the world will offer insights into their Cinema 4D production workflow on projects such as Avengers: Infinity War. In addition, MAXON partners including Insydium, Ventuz and Green Hippo will be at the booth showing how their products integrate into Cinema 4D. Cinema 4D R20 is available directly from MAXON or authorized resellers. Customers whose MAXON Service Agreement is active on Sept. 3, 2018 will automatically receive the upgrade to the new version. Cinema 4D is available for Windows and Mac OS X operating systems, and Linux nodes are also available for rendering pipelines.
