Wondertouch Boxes ParticleIllusion 3.0

Wondertouch, a newly established software developer specializing in particle effects for the visual effects industry, is now shipping the boxed version of its recently released particleIllusion 3.0 for Windows. Version 3.0 represents a major upgrade and expansion of the company’s cornerstone 2D, sprite-based particle effects software application.

The boxed version of particleIllusion 3.0 comes equipped with 22 minutes of video tutorials, a quick reference card and the company’s full emitter effects libraries. The downloadable version was released on May 20.

While users will find no main difference between the boxed and downloadable versions of particleIllusion 3.0, the option caters to customers who prefer getting their software on CD.

ParticleIllusion is a stand-alone particle effects application designed as an easy-to-use, low-cost, high performance tool for quickly and simply adding particle effects to any image, animation or video footage. The product features an ever-growing collection of hundreds of preset effects such as smoke, fire, explosions, water effects, sparkles, colorful artistic effects and others. It also offers OpenGL hardware acceleration to provide real-time or near real-time previews of most effects and fast rendering of final output.
