For those interested is using Flash but not eager to learn the intricacies of the medium, media software creator Wildform offers the Linx Flash Editor. In addition to laying claim to the only software available that can edit Flash video SWF files, the company says its Linx allows anyone to easily import, edit, combine and manipulate virtually any type of Flash SWF file, from simple images to complex animations, audio and video.
Linx features a WYSIWYG (what you see is what you get) interface, which Wildform has designed to be easy to use. Other features include an image and audio importer, image and audio controls, links, variables, pre-programmed actions, play controls, html output and projector exports. Using Linx with Flash-exporting software such as Wildform’s Flix and SWfX allows for the creation of product demonstrations, training videos, tutorials, ads, buttons, marketing materials and multimedia presentations.
In addition to Wildform’s Flix and SWfX, Linx is compatible and virtually any SWF file produced by Macromedia Flash and third party Flash software. It is available for Windows and retails for $49.
