Intel Proffers Innovative PC Awards

Alienware Area-51 and HP Media Center have both earned a 2003 Consumer-Desktop Innovative PC Award from Intel Corp. for illustrating industry achievements in technology implementation, pioneering design, versatility and ease of use.

Intel’s Innovative PC Program compared PCs from manufacturers around the world for innovative design, ease of setup, operation, expansion and maintenance.

Other winners include Dell OptiPlex SX270, HP Compaq d530 Ultra-Slim Desktop and Lenovo YangTiang S6000 in the Business Desktop PC category; Compaq Presario X1000 Widescreen Notebook, IBM ThinkPad T40, Sony VAIO PCG-TR1A, Gateway Tablet PC Deluxe, Panasonic Toughbook CF-W2 and Panasonic Toughbook CF-18 in the Notebook PC category; and icube Corp. Play@TV in the Digital Media Adaptor category.
