Boinx iStopMotion 1.0 Available

Boinx Software, a division of GeBE Computer & Peripherie GmbH, announces that Boinx iStopMotion 1.0 for Mac OS X is now available. Already, more than 6500 people have downloaded and registered prerelease versions of the stop-motion frame grabbing software published since the “last minute Christmas preview.”

The company is promoting the product for use in education, professional filmmaking and home hobby activities. Boinx is offering special volume pricing and soon-to-be-released bundle offers for schools. An iStopMotion Pro version will also be available later this year to support higher resolution and more professional level features.

iStopMotion for inexpensive production of professional movies on DVD. Boinx iStopMotion 1.0 integrates with iMovie and iDVD, and is available immediately for download at http://www.istopmotion.com/download. It requires a valid license to operate. The free Lite license can be obtained from the web site. It offers all features but limits the resolution of the captured frames to 320 x 240 pixels. The DV license can be purchased online and sells for $39.95. A special introductory offer of $35.95 is valid through June 30th, 2003. A seven-day demo license can also be requested online.
