Apple’s highly anticipated Power Mac G5 is finally out of the box. Being touted as “the world’s fastest personal computer” and the first with a 64-bit processor, the G5 can run at speeds up to dual 2GHz and use up to 8 gigabytes of main memory.
Features include three PCI-X expansion slots, a high-speed AGP 8X Pro graphics bus, FireWire 800, USB 2.0 and high-performance I/O, as well as a 4x SuperDrive DVD-R unit.
