Yu Yu Hakusho Adds Spirit to Toonami

The anime series Yu Yu Hakusho will join Dragon Ball Z, Transformers and G Gundam in the lineup on Toonami, Cartoon Network’s popular afternoon action-adventure programming block. Yu Yu Hakusho will air weekdays beginning following its debut on March 3 at 6:00 p.m. (ET, PT).

Yu Yu Hakusho, rated TV-Y7FV, follows the adventures of a fourteen-year-old rebel named Yusuke Urameshi, who gives up his life to save a child. In return for his noble sacrifice, he is permitted to return to Earth with superhuman powers. He joins a motley crew of former rivals to fight spirit criminals and protect the unsuspecting Living World.
